4D Configure Settings

One of the most common reasons for not being able to communicate is that incorrect settings are being used on the Send 1 (or Send 2) tab in 4D Configure. 

Confirm that you are using the correct 4D Configure (Send 1) settings
Prior to doing the steps below; please ensure that you have moved beyond the 'Calibration' stage once your have powered your Embroidery Machine.

1. Open 4D Configure.
2. Click on the Send 1 tab.
3. Ensure that the correct brand for your Embroidery Machine is selected on the right hand side of the box.
4. Select the Direct USB Connection option for the Embroidery Machine that you are trying send designs to.
5. Click OK.
6. Open a stitch file in one of the 4D modules.
7. Click on the Send 1 button.
   

After a few moments, the design should appear on the screen of your Embroidery Machine. If no design appears on the screen of your Embroidery Machine after approximately 30 seconds; you may need to install the 4D Device Drivers 8.2.
