Clearing the Clipboard Block

In 3D or 4D, as you edit your embroidery designs, when you click Copy the design goes onto the Clipboard Block. The Clipboard block allows you to 'carry' the design from one software module to another. However, when you are finished working with that design and ready to move onto another design, even with a clear screen, the design stays in the Clipboard Block.

To clear the Clipboard Block, find your Print Screen button on your keyboard (possibly PrtSc). Press the PrtSc button to clear the Clipboard Block. If it doesn't work, you may need to hold down another button while pressing the PrtSc button (Fn, Alt or Ctrl buttons) to clear the Clipboard Block.

4D Organizer Searches

Did you know with 4D Organizer, whatever folder you were searching in last will automatically open the next time you open 4D Organizer? This makes it much easier to do faster searches with 4D Organizer than ever before!

QuickFont for Software

Do you know the difference between the two QuickFont options in your 4D or 3D Software?

If you have 4D Embroidery, 4D Embroidery Extra or 4D Professional as well as 3D Embroidery Studio or 3D Professional, you will find the QuickFont Wizard on the Letter tab. With this QuickFont Wizard, you can turn a TrueType® or OpenType® font into a new embroidery font that can be used in your 4D or 3D Embroidery Software.

On the Set Stitch Options page of the QuickFont Wizard, if you choose Fill or Fill + Satin Border, you will have the choice between over 252 different fill patterns in your 4D Software or 108 different fill patterns in your 3D Software!

On the Set Font Name page of the QuickFont Wizard, notice you will be placing this new font into one of the font categories that are found on the Letter tab in 4D Embroidery, 4D Embroidery Extra or 3D Embroidery Studio. You can then use the new font your created within your 4D or 3D Software to enhance any embroidery design.

QuickFont for Embroidery Machines

The second QuickFont you might find in your 4D or 3D Software will only be there if you have a Husqvarna Viking Designer Diamond, Designer SE Limited Edition, Designer SE, Designer I USB, Designer I, Designer Topaz 30 or Designer Topaz 20. This QuickFont in 4D Software and 3D Software will be found under Accessories, called 4D QuickFont or 3D QuickFont.

This QuickFont Wizard allows you to turn a TrueType® or OpenType® font into a new embroidery font that can be used directly in your Husqvarna Viking Designer Embroidery machine. On the Output Options page of the QuickFont Wizard, the font will be sent directly to your Husqvarna Viking Designer Diamond, Designer SE Limited Edition or Designer SE, directly to a USB stick for your Designer I USB or Designer Topaz machine, or directly to a floppy disk for your Designer I.
