Thank you for your feedback and excitement about how much you are enjoying your sewing and embroidery on your Husqvarna Viking Designer Diamond! We have received a great deal of feedback and continue to "listen". Our Software Engineers in Sweden have quickly acted on the input and ideas.

The update below for the Designer Diamond internal software version 3191-5177 has more than 20 improvements and requested added features.

You asked for it!

The Start Menu icon has been changed to a "DIAMOND"! This was requested by Designer Diamond owners across the nation!

With this update, your Designer Diamond sewing and embroidery machine will read even more formats. The PEC/PES formats have been added.

There are some other minor corrections including solving the reason for blue screens as reported. Thank you! Also thanks to feedback from Designer Diamond owners, some changes have been made to improve a few stitches, fonts, saving to My Stitches and information on the screen.

One of the most requested changes is that now, when the Color List is minimized in Embroidery Stitch Out, when bringing the Color List back up, it comes up on the current color block you are stitching.

There were also minor changes in translation corrections in the Danish and French languages.

As a registered user, you can download the update from our Smart Update system as follows.

• Connect your Designer Diamond to your computer and ensure the Designer Diamond tray icon is active (the icon on the bottom right of your computer screen is white). If the Designer Diamond communication icon is not active it may be started from 4D Configure.
• Ensure that you have a working Internet connection and then go to 4D Configure and click on Smart Update. You will then be offered the update.

Please be aware that all user data will be lost during this update. If desired, copy these files to an Embroidery Stick before updating your machine.
