VSM Software Ltd was founded in 1988 as Embroidery Networks and known as Emnet. Our roots are in the commercial embroidery world, where we created innovative products for industrial embroiderers starting with the earliest PC technology. Many years ago we recognized the creative challenge in the consumer market. When Husqvarna Viking commissioned their first software for a sewing embroidery machine, we recognized the creative challenge in the consumer market. These embroiderers had more time to experiment, and their enthusiasm was not bound by commercial restraints.

Since 1993 we have worked with Husqvarna Viking as their premier supplier to develop an exciting family of software products including many patented features. In 1999 we joined VSM Group as their embroidery software research and development company. The company remains in London, UK with its original management team, and integrates its activities closely with the product development resources around the world.

VSM Software Ltd, (incorporating Emnet Software Ltd), is the embroidery software development company of VSM Group AB. VSM Group develops, manufacturers, markets and sells sewing machines and related products on the consumer market that enhance the joy of creative sewing. The Company holds a leading position in the medium to high-end segments of household sewing machines on the world market.

The Group's product portfolio includes embroidery sewing machines, other computerized sewing machines, electronic sewing machines, traded sewing machines and traded overlocks as well as a wide range of after-sales products, for example embroidery software. VSM Group markets its products mainly under two major premium brands, Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff, on a worldwide basis.
