If your computer is Windows® Vista 64-bit, you should be using the 64-bit 4D Device Drivers 8.2.

The 64-bit 4D Device Drivers 8.2 should be used in conjunction with the 4D System 8.21 Update, which can be downloaded via Smart Update CC007.

These drivers will only work on Windows® Vista 64-bit computers. Use the steps below to find out if your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit Windows® Vista.

1. Click on the Start menu
2. Right-click on the Computer option.
3. Click the Properties option from the bottom of the list. A 'System information' screen will appear.

The 'System type:' setting will tell you whether you have a 32-bit or 64-bit version of the Windows® Vista operating system.
